Welding conduit to electrical, epoxy filled housing using AC-750 with water-cooled collets and ceramic tube protection for wire leads. Super cooling at collets necessary to prevent welding heat soak-back into body protecting epoxy from degradation and wire from damage.

Pharmaceutical Assembly Welding

Welding electro-polished stainless tubing, fittings and valves using AC-4000 with standard flush collets. Superior arc gas coverage inside the weldhead chamber at low gas flow rates results in extremely clean welds with no discoloration and long tungsten life.

Field Application Welding of 30 trail miles of Stainless Tubing
Welding under rugged outside field conditions of 30 trail miles of stainless tubing (4 parallel lines) from artesian water well to bottling plant (this included over 30 stream and road tunneled-under-crossings and maintaining 1/2 mile from eagle nesting areas). Weldheads used with MK Cobratig TM welding power supplies and AC coolers under gasoline generator power. All equipment mounted as dual welding stations on skids that were dragged through cleared forest trails by tractor.

Bench Mounted Orbital Weld Lathe

Welding bi-metalic fluid sensors pressed under pneumatic compression with AC-750 Weldhead using water cooled collets and bench mounted lathe fixture. Requirements dictated precise micrometer axial offset for tungsten location because of weld puddle migration across bi-metallic welding interface.

Pressure/vacuum Gauge Body to VCR Fitting Welding

Welding assembled pressure/vacuum gauges while protecting gauge body so as not to affect gauge's internal working mechanism. Specially designed and fabricated water-cooled quick install/release cradle firmly and accurately supported gauge body in direct relation to tungsten location for repeatable welds.
